Biography:

Lester Rosen

Lester S. Rosen is an attorney at law and founder of Employment Screening Resources (www.ESRcheck.com ), a service offering of ClearStar.  ESR is a national background screening company located in California and is accredited under the Professional Background Screeners Association (PBSA) accreditation program.

He is the author of, “The Safe Hiring Manual- The Complete Guide to Employment Screening Background Checks for Employers, Recruiters, and Jobseekers (823 pages-Facts on Demand Press/3d Edition 2017),  the first comprehensive book on employment screening. He has also written, “The Safe Hiring Audit,” published in 2008.

He is also a consultant, writer, and frequent presenter nationwide on pre-employment screening and safe hiring issues. He has qualified and testified in the California, Florida, and Arkansas Superior Courts as an expert witness on issues surrounding safe hiring and due diligence. His speaking appearances have included numerous national and statewide conferences.

Mr. Rosen was the chairperson of the steering committee that founded the PBSA, the  professional trade organization for the screening industry, and served as the first co-chairman in 2004

Kerstin Bagus

Kerstin Bagus is the Chief Knowledge Officer for NetForce Global where she uses her more than 30 years of screening experience to help screening companies take the pain out of international background screening. She is a frequent PBSA presenter and has served in leadership positions with PBSA including Board participation and Committee leadership. Kerstin is one of the few individuals in the screening industry who is privacy certified as a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) through the International Association of Privacy Professionals (www.IAPP.org). She holds CIPP certifications for the Canadian, EU, and US Private Sector.
