Description

This webinar will focus on key areas of the health care system being impacted by AI and how AI affects physicians. It will focus on the potential advantages and disadvantages of using AI to treat patients and the potential liability exposure use of AI could subject physicians to when they use it to treat their patients. The webinar will primarily focus on professional liability/ medical malpractice liability and the evolving landscape of such liability when physicians use AI to treat their patients. We will also discuss potential liability and regulatory considerations under HIPAA and medical record privacy and security. With increasing integration of AI and machine learning in medicine, there are concerns that algorithmic inaccuracy could lead to patient injury and could lead to medical malpractice/ professional liability. After more than a decade of promise and hype, AI and machine learning are profoundly making inroads in clinical practice, and this webinar will discuss and evaluate those inroads and the key points that attendees need to be aware of and consider when implementing AI into their medical practices.
